Fort he OP...for what purpose are you thinking you may need those boots? I have several pairs of what you may think are such boots.

if i spent 1/52nd of my pay for the year on a pair of reptile boots I'd take myself directly to the back

An ostrich is not a reptile.  Or maybe it is, now im not sure.

Don't get a pointed toe boot unless you want everyone that sees you to make fun of you.  Get a pair of square toed Ariats spend around $200 give or take.

Go with a snip toe and stay away from the square or round toe unless you want to look like a Western Kansas hick that works at a CO-OP.

Oh, and don't spend less than $400.

sorry but if you're wearing hayseed boots, you're going to look like a western kansas co-op hick regardless of the type of toe the hayseed boot has

+1.  Go with the snip-toe, Western heel.  People will need to be sure you're wearing cowboy boots.  I recommend Lucchese, available at your local Cavender's.

Spracdaddy rocks a pair almost identical to these.  And meow meow, city slicker douchebag is the name of the game.

There is a difference for what you want to use them for.. If you just want to dance then I wouldn't spend as much money on them.. good work boots cost more. I usually get mine online because it's easier to compare and I too have quite large feet  :fatty:

Salt of the earth types wouldn't be caught dead in no city slicker snip-toe boots. Just ask hard-working Midwesterner ADJC.

I guess what I'm trying to say is just like ADJC I'm a guy that likes to work hard and play hard.  Whether I'm whipping ass in the boardroom or line dancing, I can always count on my snip toe boots.
