I have a lot of books(hard cover, soft cover and digital) and I need to get a bookshelf to put them all on

True story. When the iPad came out, I read several books on it because it was new and convenient, but it started to bother me that I couldn't put a book I just read on my shelf. I stopped and started buying real books from then on. Years later, I was having some booze drinks on my patio and I bought every book that I read on the iPad so I could put them on my book shelf.   :)

good lord. reading on an ipad would be horrific. you should try a kindle brother.

A) doesn't hurt your eyes
B) don't need a light
C) can take all your books with you wherever you go and buy more books right on it
D) if you fall asleep reading and it smacks you in the face you don't lose your spot in the book. unless it hits your nose on one side or the other and then it flips one page.

I have seen some sweet kindle set ups on reddit with like adjustable mounts and remote page turners. It's like the ultimate in lazy person reading.

That was an issue. It was the first iPad so I didn't really think about that. Kindle does make a lot of sense. Maybe i'll get one when I fill up all the book shelves? :dunno: Or I could just repeat the same process as above because I get drunk and do things some times.

We don’t. But I’m sure I could figure it out. They are locked and there’s a super old skeleton key that unlocks them.

As far as recommendations go, I highly recommend not leaving your 10mo old Kindle Paper White on a plane.

I've had an older one shipped to me after I left it on a plane! It was an international flight so I couldn't go back to get it. Worked pretty well

Looks like that shelf is full of legit classics SD. Should put lil SD on a mission to read them all
If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

That’s a good idea but instead he’s watching Paul Blart Mall Cop 2 on my couch after football practice in a “comfy”

If you guys haven’t logged on to ChatGPT, told it your favorite 5-10 books, and detailed why they are your favorite, then asked it to recommend books you would like based on that info, then I recommend doing so.

Also, as you read your books, talk about them with GPT, it’s really good at that. It’s like book club but without having to read The Golden Finch or The Book Thief and no one will invite you to Bible study.

Has ChatGPT read the contents of published popular fiction?
