That can't be true. Many Catholic churches have 5pm mass on Saturdays.

This. But I think it varies by area. In the kc Metro, for instance, the ks area parishes don't go beyond 2pm because of evening mass conflict. This is why most people who want an evening wedding just find a church on the mo side. This is what we did.

It's too bad that Clink left, but whatever. He was more hype than anything. Geary and Britz are better anyway. However, with his departure it creates less depth along the DL.

Speaking of the DL, you know who I'm beginning to think might not pan out is Tanner Wood. Hopefully this year he breaks out a little bit.

Doesn't this leave the possibility of doing some bad stuff on Saturday night and then not getting to confession until a week later, so you have a whole week that you could get killed and still have that bad stuff on your record...Is that how it works?

The rite of penance (confession) is really just an outward symbol. Catholicism teaches that one is forgiven as soon as they are genuinely remorseful and pray to God for forgiveness. Very few practicing Catholics go to confession on a weekly basis and the church only actually "requires" an annual visit to the confessional anyway. HTH
