That is not one of the options. The point is that we are probably not going to have A,A next year. It may be realistic to hope that one of the units surprises us all and performs at the A level, but which one would be best, assuming that the other performs at a C level? Or, is it better if they are both at the B level?
The follow up question is, of course, what are we most likely to have based on spring practices and spring game?

Is it possible that we have some receivers that will step up? Seems like a lot of the time our receivers really "come out of nowhere" or are "under the radar" guys until they get a chance.

You need to be able to fly under the radar when you have a bazooka-wielding, dick-kicking, laser-guidance-system-having, spinner like ole Joe throwing plasma rockets into the stratosphere.

BSFS will be renamed New Touchdown Town City because of all of the time we will be spending scoring touchdowns on people. It will make more sense to buy than rent if you know what I mean.

2001 at least had Aaron Lockett returning where 2015 has Burton & Cook, at least until that piece of crap Polamalu's cheap shot. Bill still found a way to average 27.5 pts/game and 5.1 yards/play but that team did have the most physical running attack in the history of the program.
C and A seems like a very tough way to win in today's big 12. I would say this speaks for itself
2001 - C offense, A defense in more "conventional" league = 6-6
2011- A offense, C defense in a wide open league = 10-3

Pretty much right. Offensively, we will be really limited if we don't have anyone that we can count on throwing the ball to.
Guys like Cook, Burton, Andre Davis, Judah Jones-- even Kyle Klein to an extent are about all we really have returning at the receiver position. I'm not counting on Heath to contribute much since he is pretty much the same player as JJ and you would have to think JJ would be ahead of him at this time.
I guess I can throw Steven West into a group of hopefuls but at this point who knows. By my math, we are returning a whopping 523 yards receiving from our WRs.
Also, I think we will be able to run the ball better than we did last year with Bazooka Joe at QB. But against good teams (Baylor, OU, TCU) we won't be able to run the ball with much efficiency.

I trust the staff to prepare these boys properly. Our Def will end up being the weak point, you heard it here first.

i would say 2nd most talented in DoD 2.0 (after 2012) and I would put 2012 around 5th or 6th all time without sitting down and really thinking about it. So 2015 in the top 10 OAT is a definite possibility and pretty much a requirement for a good season.

i kind of agree with that. 7-5 seems likely to me. we just have significantly fewer weapons on offense than at any time previous during Snyder 2.0. i usually just trust in the "magic" but that has me legitimately worried about scoring.

Please note that I didn't say we'd been shakier during Snyder 2.0, but "in the past".
I'll put it this way; IF this team chooses to work like they're a brand new team that has to prove themselves all over again, we'll be ok. On the other hand, if they just go thru the motions and expect success based on those who have gone before them... we're mumped.
My belief is that we've got some DITR's ready to shine and that we have enough serviceable depth to have some pretty solid ballplayers emerge from the competition.

A deep and talented defensive line. Three very good players in the secondary. You're right about the linebackers though.

Our 2012 defense is the only "A" consideration I would give KSU since the DOD and I think that would have been a B- at most without Arthur Brown. He made that much of a difference imo.

I think a lot of optimism is hinging on Moore and Lee. Maybe Sizelove as well.
A tiny part of me hopes Sullivan may play as a Frosh, but I just know how these things work, so I'm not getting my hopes up.
I fully expect to see Tanking and Davis because that seems to be how we roll, though.

This. But I think it varies by area. In the kc Metro, for instance, the ks area parishes don't go beyond 2pm because of evening mass conflict. This is why most people who want an evening wedding just find a church on the mo side. This is what we did.

The rite of penance (confession) is really just an outward symbol. Catholicism teaches that one is forgiven as soon as they are genuinely remorseful and pray to God for forgiveness. Very few practicing Catholics go to confession on a weekly basis and the church only actually "requires" an annual visit to the confessional anyway. HTH

What exactly is the issue here? Risner is one of the best OL prospects we've landed in quite some time and this has kind of been the plan since he arrived. They spent virtually all of last year grooming him for this spot.

First impressions of true freshman QB Alex Delton?
Morgan Burns: Man, maturity. He's getting a lot of reps, too. It's very rare for a freshman to come in and get reps with the ones and twos, and knows the offense really well and leads the offense. He's done a great job. He's out there running plays, doing checks and making plays happen, too. It's cool to see him mature and develop and want to also throw his name in the bowl and compete. I'm extremely impressed by him.
Who's a young player on this team nobody is talking about who could have a big year?
Burns: Sam Sizelove. He's a young linebacker. He's getting a lot of time with the ones and twos. He can run really well. Sam, he'll just throw his head in someone's chest and run right through you. As a young guy, that's huge. He has a big frame. I think he can bring a lot to the team this year, and down the road, he can be a great player. I'm excited about Sam.
Your thoughts on the quarterback competition so far?
Burns: Jesse [Ertz] and Joe [Hubener], they've come a long way as far as their leadership. It can be hard playing behind a great guy like Jake [Waters], and then all of a sudden you're competing for a spot. I think they've taken on the challenge well, they're both very competitive. They have different strengths. Jesse is probably more so a runner. Joe throws the ball first, and is more of a bigger guy. It's cool to watch them battle, because it's such an important position on the team. I have confidence in both of them. I'm excited to see who steps up for the first game.

Yesterday, Stan Weber (who watches more game film than most coaches and can still throw a tight spiral when called upon) said the strength golf this team are the D Backs and DT's.
He also said Ertz is making this a true three way battle at QB....said Ertz has been impressive.
