i don't mind if they fake the decision part, but i want them to be honest about pricing.  part of why i watch is to see how much it costs to live in different places.

the intl expose is that they already own/rent the house.  like some people that have lived in a house 3 years pretend to choose between the house where they live and two random places and then they choose to live in the house where they already live and that's the show.

similar with the normal expose. in the normal they dont film until they close on the house, but its before they move in and they go find other houses to look at. you can always tell the winner because its the empty house. the other houses full of furniture just have randos in them

its just light refraction, if you are a believer in science.

i honestly dont remember where i got the other bowl. its cereal bowl sized white ceramic bowl. deeper and narrower than typical american bowls.

no other decorations. just white.

that's a good look at the bottom of the bowl.  it looks like there's a ring of unpolished ceramic (stoneware?  porcelain?) along the outside of the bowl bottom.  no offense, but i hate that.  i like a nice smooth piece of pottery.

it feels smooth, no roughness or jaggedness. just matte finished instead of glazed glossy.

i know what you are saying though, i just threw out a bunch of stoneware coffee cups that had jagged bottoms that scratched the crap out of natural wood surfaces.

pyrex was sold and bought by a new company a while ago and they've changed their formula- no more borosilicate.  they're using pud ass soda lime glass now, which is cheaper but also less heat resistant.  the borosilicate manufacturing process was more expensive and more harmful to the environment but it produced a better product.
