Do y guys like to eat in peace or do you like to socialize at lunch? Like, sometimes i'll be sitting on the porch at work and listening to BITB eating my lunch and then: BOOM! Here comes the annoying coworker I just tried to get away from at lunch and they wanna sit right next to me. 

i eat at my desk and socialize with my computer

Sometimes I read or watch a TV show on my computer during lunch (that could be a solution to Wacky's problem of not having time for all his shows).

Made taco burgers the other night.

Took leftover meat and threw it on top of lettuce with toms, onions and cheese with some taco sauce and Dorothy Lynch (nectar of the gods).

I wish I had a picture. It was delicious!

no photos (lost phone), but my hack today:

Situation: Last night I had pizza. Great! Leftovers!
Problem: No containers large enough to hold the pizza slices (3)
Solution: Cut the pizza into tiny pieces and shove them in a small container. Heat up, eat with a fork. Will report back after lunch on the sun deck.

thats a fun solution! i typically just wrap my slice pile in foil or dump them into a ziplock bag

have you ever heard of anyone putting mustard on pizza? i saw it for the first time this weekend and it was mesmerizing

foil and ziplock bags are wasteful and don't work well for transport for me. It tasted OK, I should have made smaller pieces, though.

have not put mustard on pizza, but have on fries!

re: socializing: most people here aren't very social. There's a few people that I'll gladly go to lunch with if they ask, though.

salina life is great in this way. Do you work in a nap? I would if I could make it home every day. (Always did working on the farm)

I'll nap during lunch every now and then the day after a late concert or sporting match in KC and it's wonderful

Used to eat lunch at work every day. Didn't think it was bad until I moved 3 blocks from work. Now i can't go back I don't think.


Had extra spaghetti sauce w/meat the other night. Threw that in a tortilla, added shredded cheese, pickles and hot sauce. Was v good.

today i built i salad at the salad bar. great but where's the hack, daris? well after i did it i walked over to the grill and had them give me some chicken strips. then when i got back to the office i sliced up the strips and slammed them on my salad. warm chicken strips on my salad. officially hacked the work lunch place. never knew what hit em.
