Ham/turkey sandwich with a side salad. Plus a cheese twist stick.
Had to use the ranch left over from yesterday's veggie tray since I used the last of my work dressing on yesterday's salad.

today i built i salad at the salad bar. great but where's the hack, daris? well after i did it i walked over to the grill and had them give me some chicken strips. then when i got back to the office i sliced up the strips and slammed them on my salad. warm chicken strips on my salad. officially hacked the work lunch place. never knew what hit em.

broccoli
eggs
jalapenos
red onions
warm chicken strips
ranch
pepper

i don't have the brain wiring to make it through a pay by weight salad bar in a sustainable way. last time i tried, i ended up with like a $19.50 salad bar tray.

It was small one, about 5" x 7" but it had sugar snap peas. It was on the Manager's Special because it was going to expire in 2 days.

yeah. i must be wired pretty goodbecause i thought about cottage cheese for a second and then my brain was like don't do it daris! cottage cheese is SO heavy!

Any droid users here? How do you post pics of your lunch from your phone without the file being too big?

I just email it to myself and reduce the file size on my computer before posting. There is also an option to allow you to reduce the file size when you email it, but I don't know how to just reduce it on your phone without emailing. I think you have to get some app to do it.

The hack? No hack on this but i have a ridiculous lunch hack coming up this afternoon.

I built this #LunchHack up in my previous post so every one better be impressed.

The hack? Marinade some chicken thighs/legs in bbq sauce then throw them on the grill for dinner.



Next scrape all the meat off and shred it up. The #hack to the #LunchHack is to get some of the fatty cartilage off the bones.



Then make a delicious bbq chicken sandwich with onion and provolone cheese served on onion bun.



The one i made for lunch wasn't as pretty but it was just as good.

i really like how you made sure to get all the cartilage off the bones. were the cartilage chunks chewable or did you have to just swallow them whole?

I didn't include the knobs of cartilage on the ends of the bone, just the fatty chewy stuff around the hard stuff.

today i made a turkey, ham and cheese sandwich on a kaiser roll with wheat thins and hummus on the side.

#hack- took some of the inner breading out of the roll so i wasnt getting all bread.

Ms. wacky made us homemade pot pie (minus the crust) last night for our lunches today. It's the first time she's done it and I'm a little concerned about it. There's a lot of colors to it and I don't trust it.
