The Texas Prez was just asked about the strength of schedule of the 10 team league at his press conference.  He said that Oklahoma, A&M, and..........KANSAS STATE have all been strong

they're trying to kiss up to us and reduce our ANGER.  Don't fall for it, no matter what they've done to save the conference.  we need to remain ANGRY.

The thing that strikes me this morning is how the sun shined on the dog's ass -  aTm. They ended up in the 20M payout bracket with UT and OU. How does that work??? I hate aTm

They pretended that the SEC was interested in them.  They play poker with the cards down, apparently.

A&M was able to parlay their brief romance with the SEC into a full revenue share.  I don't give a eff.  We're still makin g a ton more than we would have been if A&M had left and set the dominos in motion again.

That's a good point, but I was really referring to the fact that Texas Tech is going to replace Utah in the Mountain West because they are butt-hurt about being a tard like us.

All these teams have a neutral-site game by choice. I don't like forcing other schools to do this if it would not be beneficial to them.

I don’t hold out much hope, but Tech is the one school who hasn’t announced its acceptance. The BoR meeting scheduled for Tues afternoon is still on, and the members are coming in person instead of the planned video-conference. I have no idea what our options are, but as you know our regents can be kinda quirky.

Who would want them? The Mountain West? Tech leaving would make them the most Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!) athletic department in the country, and it would probably just make the new Big 12 tv deal even more lucrative.

9 teams would be a great league other than one team sitting out each week.
An 8 team conference football schedule and a 16 team conference basketball schedule.

You've still got to deal with them with the NCAA . . . people forget that ultimately the NCAA answers to its members Presidents and Chancellors.   So if your Beebe do you want the Big 10  presidents fighting anything your conference wants every year at the NCAA meetings because  you stupidly told the world how you really feel about them at a press conference??

Listened to 810 on the way to work this morning and the dude from Powermizzou.com was on talking about how pissed off all the Mizzou fans are about being stuck in the Whataburger 10 instead of the Big 10.  He likened it to being promised a shiney new Mustang for your 16th birthday and then getting a broken down Hyundai.  It is fairly clear to me that Mizzou is the ugly girl who hasn't yet figured out that she is ugly or the poor kid who wears the same Tommy Hilfiger shirt to school everyday while trying to fit in with the rich kids.  Someday Mizzou will realize who and what they are and accept it.  It's a nice feeling once you have done this, IMO.

Do they realize that they weren't really wanted?  They were just a part that was being brought along with Texas and was a much better option than Baylor.  (Don't get me wrong though, I wish we were going to be a part brought along with Texas)

Maybe texas will use the CU/NU money to buy us something nice on our birthday.  We've had our eye on a new bike without training wheels for some time.  I know they've seen us looking at it in the Sears catalog.

Pac 10 most assuredly has Utah on the Radar Screen now.  2 million plus on the front range and a 20% growth rate probably looks pretty attractive.
