At this point I'm just happy to not be Baylor or MU. Baylor is getting kick in the balls as the step child of the Texas schools. MU got arrested for trying to turn tricks on the corner before it even got its first client. ISU might be in better shape then these two, meanwhile KSU and KU seem to be sitting on a park bench watching the whole thin unfold.
Completely wrong, except Baylor. MU and KU will be fine. We are just completely and totally 100% fracked in the ass.
we're probably mumped and mu and ku are probably fine but i wouldn't put anything at 100%. the sec isn't going to expand just to expand. at least it doesn't seem that way. if they can't get a&m and i'd say it's around 50% right now, they'll probably stay put. a lot of them aren't that happy with the last teams they took in and they don't seem to excited to bring in more athletic dead weight just to do it.
if a&m goes to pac 10, again 50%, then ku isn't getting that pac 10 invite. even if a&m doesn't go pac 10, ku isn't guaranteed to replace them. utah is a serious possibility.
so if ku doesn't get the pac 10 invite, which i'd say is less than 50%...where are they going? and for mu, there are some rumors that they might be completely off the big1 list because 1. notredame doesn't want another school to the west added and 2. the big 10 wants to get out on the east coast due to wanting the tv's and to try and collapse the big east and thus force notre dame to join.
best thing that could happen for ksu would be for ku to not get the pac 10. big 10 to continue to slow play things and ku, isu, mu and ku to join up with the big east and have the big east be incredibly serious and aggresive about keeping their conference.
