At this point, the Big XII is officially dead. Texas ain't gonna stick around a dying conf. when greener pastures are to be had.

The south (sans Baylor) is already gone. Its just a question of how the rest of it shakes out.

This is going to take some getting used to. Somehow being a member of a conference with "Mountain" or "East" in its name just seems wrong on many levels.

pluses: frank would get recruits. would be very weird and awkward all the time. most "prestige" of the non-prestige having choices
minuses: wouldn't last

pluses: is probably the long term solution. great roadys.
minuses: we would be nobody. even nobody'er than we are already...which is a lot.

i reluctantly agree with this. i would prefer the mountain west but they prob couldnt get a BCS out of it which makes big east more sense.

Mountain West: I think this will allow us to be competitive in all sports, and it will soon be a BCS conference. The Big East would be my first choice, but I just don't know who will be left in the conference after the Big 10 and ACC get done with it. Conference USA can go to hell.
