At this point, the MWC says it is postponing any expansion, while it sounds like the Big East is getting a giant boner for Kazzu. Let's take what we can get and not sweat it, ya know?

Plus, geographically, it seems like the Big East would be awesome for our hoops, recruiting and all.

We could scrap football altogether and just concentrate all of our money into Frank & Company.

At this point it's now down to Big East v. Mountain West. One is big, but the other has mountains.

really though that is a pretty elite football conference traditonal powers SMU, BYU; up and comers UH, MU, Boise, TCU, Utah, and teams with potential KSU, KU, SDSU [now that they could recruit to a BCS program]

(better than ACC and Big East)

Baksteball lineup of KSU, KU, Baylor, UNLV, Mizzou, BYU, Utah would be fairly legit as well

(better than Big 10 and probably Pac 10)

p.s. i would rather ditch CSU than AF

Cire raises a good point. The Big East could potentially knock KSU back down to mediocrity (average season records even if we'd be better than most teams outside the conference) or bring new life (us do really well there).

We'd win in the Mountain West while Frank is still here, but he wouldn't be here long if we are in that conference.

I'm kinda thinking it would be cool to compete against schools that have budgets similar to ours for once. Where would Where would our budget rank in the MWC? Higher than 2nd to last, right? Getting tired of trying to keep up with the UTs, Nubbs, A+Ms, OUs, etc.
