Cry! Cry! Cry!  Oh me oh my, Texas won't be there to help us wah wah wah!  If it wasn't for the purple trim, I would have never known I was on a "supposed" K-State message board.  When did our fan base become a sniveling welfare queen demanding handouts from the other Big XII schools?  Anyone with half a brain could see this break up of the Big XII coming a mile away.  I have been saying this would happen for years, but every time I would bring it up, someone would stick their head in the sand and sing "everything will be fine, Texas loves us and has our best interests in mind..."  Its just so appropriate given the times we live in.  People with their grubby hands out wanting to continually suckle on the governments teat.  Well just like the leeches who depend on The State to provide for them eventually become slaves to The State, you suck ups to Texas and ESPN have made KSU a slave.  A slave to Texas who no longer understands how to stand on their own.  KSU will be fine by itself, sure it might sting for a while to not get those free checks in the mail, but learning how to cope independent of Mommy and Daddy Longhorn will only make us stronger. 

Let Texas go!  Let Nebraska and Missouri go.  Who needs them?  If you think we need them then YOU are the reason we are even in this position.   YOU are the same person who forced out Bill to get something newer and shinier.  Look where that got us!  If LHC Bill Snyder was our coach for the last 5 years there would be NO QUESTION we would be included in any other conference's expansion plan.  Mr "Affirmative Action" Tim Weiser put us here! 

And if you think Frank Martins thugball team is going to get us anywhere you're crazy.  A I predicted long ago, this program is falling apart at the seams.  As soon as the hard workers in the program left our recruiting tanked.  Frank and Delante are getting fat on KSU money doing nothing.  KSU basketball will never save us.  Wake up sleepers.

We should have been prepared for this long ago.  That this takes some of you "experts" by surprise is hilarious.

Just a follow-up to what Chingon is saying....the Mods/Admins of goEMAW are trying to remain objective about this.

It's only fair that we disclose a few items to the board.

Sure, KSU and KU will take it in the ass if we move to the SEC.  However, message board owners (e.g. Shay Wildeoor (fellow KSU alumn), Tim Fitzgerald, Matt Scott, and the goEMAW mods/admins) will experience a windfall.  Site traffic will go through the roof for everyone.  "A rising tide raises all boats."

The revenue generated from our current "in principle" deal between Tidefans.com, Volnation.com, Tigerinsider.com, theCatsDomain.com, and goEMAW.com is going to be more than enough to keep us very happy despite any failures on the athletic field.

Having said that, the number one priority of the goEMAW staff, to a man, is to be advocates for the success of KSU Men's basketball and football.


We'll continue to move forward in this process as "fans," and do everything within our power to avoid letting our personal financial interests influence the operation of this site....that's what we have done since day one, and that's what we'll continue to do.
