I couldn't picture MU and WVU in their new conferences when it was announced, I still can't see it that well now. Utah and TCU always seemed like fits in their new conferences. Utah is a big school in Pac 12 territory and TCU is in the heart of the Big 12.

The logo the big 10 has is perfect for going to 16 teams, already looks like the big 10, and 16, all in one, they might not be good at football but they hired a helluva marketing firm to do that one

You were basing your post on the past and forgot about Wisconsin while unintentionally overselling NU. Nebraska has not won a conference title in 13 seasons. Despite Gary Anderson, Nebraska has done nothing to lead you, me, or any other sane person to think they are going to have an easy path anywhere.

I really just wanted to take a shot at NU for leaving the best conference in the world (2nd best in FB) for what might be the most boring division in world.  You are absolutely correct that Wisconsin has been the superior program here in the 21st century, although I am not sold on Andersen translating to High Major football, especially recruiting in a new region of the country.

Bowlsby said in an interview back in the day that we may need to take schools and build them up as that's what other conferences are doing (i.e. Rutgers in the Big Ten).

We'll expand if we get to a point where not playing a CCG keeps us out of the playoff and/or Fox pays us obscene money to expand for the sake of inventory.

Otherwise, we're fine.  We'll all just make a ton of money and play football on national networks.
