If you add KU and KSU, it raises the profile immediately.

They play good ball out there.  SDSU is a team on the rise.  UNLV is a perennial NCAA team.  BYU is for the most part.  New Mexico is going to continue to be good, and they are a basketball-first school.  Add KU/KSU to the mix, and you're looking at a 4-6 bid conference nearly every year.  That's pretty much what the Big 12 is today.

K-State, KU, and Baylor will be MWC schools very soon. Just embrace it. Memphis did just fine in Conference USA recently (a much worse conference than the MWC).

Adding to the intrigue is that Big Ten commissioner Jim Delany said Sunday that expansion could happen in stages.

If all of the above comes to pass, we'd be looking at two 16-team leagues (Pac-10, Big Ten), the collapse of the Big 12 and Big East and a whole lot of chaos. Does the SEC react?"

Regarding Versus HD, do they broadcast games in HD?  'Cause Fox has HD channels but literally has worse quality broadcasts than local Metro Sports high school games.
