Plus it's buying time from the networks. There were rumors before that they weren't happy with the lack of big non-con games. Probably nothing more than setting up a plan to make them happy in the 5% chance alignment really does calm down for an extended period of time.

I can only hope we are playing the PAC 10/12 expansion playbook and we are just playing coy with the ACC. Was Bowlsby in on what PAC 10/12 did to try and get Texas? I can't remember if he was still on the West Coast then. But they way this expansion crap has gone, this is us just pussy footing around and getting Cincinnati and South Florida type schools.

Looks like June of 2014  could be judgement day.  The face of college sports will forever be changed.
