FSU & CLEMSON will be joining THE BIG 12 in July:
Hot off the presses:
I have just checked with my inside source in the ACC office and the rumor now is that:
1. FSU and Clemson have ironed out all the details with the Big 12 and are expected to formally announce they are moving sometime next month.
2. Virginia and Maryland have made contact with the Big 10 office and have received some positive feedback. They are nowhere even close to any kind of a deal, though.
3. Virginia Tech has reached out to the SEC office. My source does not know what was said or if it was received positively.
4. Georgia Tech has made no further inquiries with the Big 10. Evidently we are satisfied that they are not interested in us. Mums the word at GT. Everybody is holding their breath waiting for the dominoes to fall. And fall they will, as Yoda would say.
My inside sources at GT confirm this. FSU and Clemson are now GONE.
Bye, bye to Clemson and FSU. Don't let the doorknob get caught in your azzes on the way out! And now the Big East will really fall apart. Mr. Swofford is about to take two more of your schools away.
