Look, I enjoy Shaggy as much as the next guy, but 80%+ on that site is basically a rehash of jokes from the blue collar comedy tour.   There are some jems to be sure, but LOADS of WT.

VPI and UNC have reached out to the SEC. In VPI’s case it’s more than reaching out.

I have to believe that if UNC goes to the SEC then NC State joining the Big 12 becomes a real possibility.  Expansion to 16 fits within the Big 12 model if the teams would add value and teams like NC State and Maryland seem a good fit.

I don't know about the NC State stuff but it would be interesting to see UNC try to strong arm their way into the SEC over NC State.  I mean it would probably work, right? Would make me feel bad for NC State though.

A guy I work with (NC State Grad) swears that NCSU and UNC are bound by some kind of state board of regeants treaty or something, thereby keeping them in the same conference no matter what. Of course, I heard the same thing about UT and aTm...

It's a Board of Trustees meeting.  Nobody is moving conferences (yet) and nothing is going to happen until mid-June at the earliest.
