Today multiple sources have confirmed to our friends at Cemetery-Hill.com that Clemson and the BigXII have "agreed in principle" to Clemson joining the conference in July 2013. While we cannot confirm that the BigXII or the Clemson Board of Trustees have officially voted on the measure, we believe any vote at this point would be considered a formality. btw, theres new pressure to change the perimeter law. Would be awesome. And unless your work meeting is there, there's no reason to stay there. You're a 15-20 minute metro ride to most cool places in the city.

No.  It doesn't make sense.  Although Clemson is on about the same level as A&M.  They pull huge home crowds.

The thing that hasn't been mentioned is that this year's Cotton Bowl has to have a lot to do with this.  Third place SEC against the second place Big XII team in the Jerry Dome and there wasn't an empty seat in the place.  It was bigger than any of the regular BCS bowls and people noticed.
