There are a couple of things wrong with this post.

First of all, Missouri has as much as a shot at a conference title in the SEC as they had in the Big 12 - that is to say, not a very good one.   They might win their division once or twice a decade, just like they did in the Big 12, but that's it.  Virtually a lateral move as far as competition goes.

I don't know.  I just think about if we had done something like that.  No matter how bad it got I would act super excited and happy while dying inside.  I'm very good at this.

I just got word that FSU is going to agree to terms with the Big 12 on membership. They may be announced alone or with another eastern team in tandem. Going to 12 with FSU and another will bump the contract to close to 24 million per team including Big12 championship game revenue-but not including new bowl with SEC(that could be worth as much as $3 million per team), or Tier 3 rights which FSU will control. FSU is not getting Miami in, Miami does not have the votes to get in. They are promising FSU games with TX and OK every year. Dodds is open to 14 now because of the SEC alliance we are forging. unless someone like ARK or ND can be turned then 14 is probably as high as we go. FSU will pay $7 million to get out of the ACC because we will pick up the tab for $10 mill and loan FSU the other 3.
So what is the hold-up on Clemson now?...the B12 now has a lot more options to consider. The word is that the SEC wants to stay at 14 for a few years and see how it works out before expanding again. VT and a few others in the ACC are getting nervous. VT is now in the picture for the B12(as is Pitt, MD, and others) and it seems a school from the ACC has contacted the big 10---and the big 10 is listening.
I know that nothing is signed yet, but they have a verbal agreement on these terms and it is in the process of becoming legally binding.

This is impossible unless all 3 are in the same division or you allow 1 schools to have 2 permanent cross division rivals.  No way they would put all 3 in the same division.

They aren't going to intentionally put the big name teams in the same division and those teams don't want to be in the same division.  don't be dumb.  The last thing the powerhouse schools want is a garbage team winning one game and being champion.  They will want them relatively even while maintaining rivalries.  TX and OU are going to play every season.  OSU and OU are going to play every season.  KU and KSU are going to play every season.  If ND comes then ND and TX are going to play every season.  Outside of that there is room to work.  Even TTech and TX don't have to play every year because...who gives a eff about what TTech wants.  TX no longer even cares about an in state rival imo.

I mean, possibly doing a North South with garbage MU, KY, AR, Vandy, TN, GA, SC in the north?  Seems even worse.  They can't split the in state schools.  Maybe bring AL/AU to the east and send MU/KY west?  They didn't want the two new schools in the same division though.
