It's really sinking in how playing in a 14 or 16 team schedule would suck ass.

Any 14 team conference that has a 9 game conference season needs to have the commish beaten and sodomized.  A nine game conference season means that any team that goes undefeated would have to win 10 conference games. no rough ridin' way.

With 2 divisions and 14 teams, you kind of do. I'm betting the SEC schools play everyone in their division and only 2 schools in the other division.

Why couldn't you round-robin in your division and play a couple teams from the other, rotating of course, and best record wins?  Throw in some tie-breakers, it'd work. 

If you play a 9 game conference schedule, there are 5 teams in your conference that you won't even play. At that point, it is virtually impossible to establish a fair tie breaker between teams from different divisions. They played completely different schedules.

Aside from the obvious two division issue.  The SEC rough ridin' invented the conference championship game you stupid bitchfaces, they aren't getting rid of it. 

How will they do it?  I guess they will play their division games and just play two from the opposite division on a rotating basis, unbalanced schedule if you would, I don't know what else they would do.

As a BU fan I hope Mizzou stays as like it or not the presence of another AAU school with the media markets they have and recent success makes a Pac16 or other significant fracture of the Big 12 less likely.

However the best part about them being gone if they go is that all 6 of the non-PAC targets would be likely to stick around and rebuild should things happen in a 10 team setup or 8 in a 12 team league.
