So, we add however many BE remnants needed to add up to 12 and call it good? Might not be that terrible.
Quote from: steve dave on September 19, 2011, 07:36:35 PMword out of OU is that they have two options: PacWhatever & Big12 with equal revenue sharing. Texas is either going to have to ditch their television station or go indy. no conference will have them with it. Oklahoma is such a bitch. Jesus Christ what huge vaginas to want this rough ridin' Utopian big 12 now. Now I wish that kid had gotten into the stadium before he blew himself up.

Make some bullsh#t request of UT knowing full well UT won't accept so you can make yourself feel better when you leave. Bob getting an extension has to mean something, poster on the other site said bob told ou if they stay in the big 12 he will leave (ohio state will need a coach soon).I'm so sick of these schools worrying about not being the "bad guy". eff all of you. You're all bad guys. YES. Nebraska, Texas A&M, OU, and Texas can all go eff themselves, regardless of how this works out. I'm not really all that upset with Colorado for some reason.

The last part makes me tremendously sad and basically encapsulates entirely what Totuga was saying earlier.Nobody wins here. This is about killing your neighbor over panic and fear.Quote[10.) Oh, one more and then I really am done for the night. Let's just make this an even ten. It may surprise many of you to learn that most of the people with whom I have spoken about this issue (both insiders and outsiders alike) are anything but celebratory. This is very different than VT's reaction in 2003 or BC's reaction a year later. Everyone with whom I have spoken is a little bit sad that it has reached this point and everyone is lamenting losing the Big East Tournament in MSG. However they are also mostly resolved that this is probably in our best long term interests because of the stability the new league will provide us. Also, most believe that WVU is a at least a decent bet to get an SEC invite.

Blaming Texas is like blaming the pretty girl for being hated just because she's prettier than the 7s and 8s talking crap on her.

As I said yesterday, these losers claiming they are leaving their conference for stability are causing the instability. Pitt, Syracuse, A&M, and OU are the biggest culprits. Even if the Big East lost WVU they would have been more than fine. Pitt and SU completely blind sided the conference and should face extreme shame and ridicule for it.
QuoteKansas Board of Regents to discuss realignment ThursdayEd McKechnie, chairman of the Kansas Board of Regents, said Monday night that the board has added conference realignment to its agenda Thursday. The meeting, which will be held in executive sessions with officials from both KU and K-State present, is roughly scheduled for noon but the time could change, he said. The Big 12 and legal options will be discussed."I remain confident the Big 12 will survive," McKechnie said. "In 10 years, I think Nebraska and Colorado will look back and regret leaving. The Big 12 has a bright future and a lot more to offer as a sum than its parts."I am confident and hopeful that in the end everyone will talk and find a way to put this all back together."There are a lot of options out there, and I'm willing to listen."As long as five schools remain committed, the Big 12 will exist. We are confident that will happen. We expect everybody to live up to their obligations and honor the contracts they have signed."Really....??

The longer they deny what's going on the longer they can put off making any real decisions. They are basically hoping the situation works itself out in the mean time.
"If conference commissioners were the founding fathers of this country, we would have Guatemala, Uruguay and Argentina in the United States," Boeheim said. "This audience knows why we are doing this. There's two reasons: Money and football.
"Where would you want to go to to a tournament for five days? Let's see: Greensboro, North Carolina, or New York City? Jeez. Let me think about that one and get back to you."
If ND is going ACC then if the Big 10 wants to expand, MU, KU, Rutgers, Uconn are their options, essentially.
