Really, so OU is "floored" after they come out and basically say they're talking to everybody and anybody . . . so they thought schools like Pitt were just going to sit on their ass and wait and see what OU and their "he needs to be punched in the mouth" president decide they're going to do?

it is just one more way for a school to distance themselves from the decisions that they are making. "we totally were still maybe going to stay in big12, but then the acc did what they did and jesus. i mean it just wasn't possible for us to stay after that."
texas certainly and now ou don't want to be seen as the bad guys and are going to spin at every opportunity possible.

is ou and texas using reporters to make it appear they were blindsided by pitts move to the ACC in attempts to NOT be implicated as the catalyst for conference change a consipracy of sorts? TIA
It's a little more believable than the post I initially criticized. I still don't believe blame is a factor at this point, though.
