Those schools offer the ACC nothing when it comes to football.  When they were in the BE they were with peer institutions.  So they can recruit the Carolinas now, so what?  What top level football player is going to choose Pitt & Syracuse over the top teams in the ACC?  The ACC just gained a television market and Pitt and Syracuse gained perceived stability, first to leave the ship before it sinks.  This is no different than A&M to the SEC, just on a smaller scale.

With the best part schools from the BE gone to ACC. I'd say KU's chances of heading to the Big 10 just went up alot...which means our chances of going to the MWC just got alot better.

I guess the most likely scenario is that there's 5 BCS conferences and we end up in the tard conference nobody cares about, while the media only pays attention to the "Big 4"

Assuming acc adds Rutgers and uconn to get to 16, ku may be an option if the big ten goes to 16. I would guess nd and mu would be their 13 and 14 with ku being a candidate for 15 or 16 along with Isu, ksu, cincy, and Louisville I guess. But then does the sec stop at 14 with wvu or go to 16? Who do they add for 15 and 16?

It is known that the Kansas BOR can't afford to have another wsu. Captain Crap will back me up.
