i’ve always kind of thought of stanford as the k-state of the pac12, and k-state as the stanford of the big12, so it would be pretty cool to have the nation’s preeminent research institutions in the same conference.  with that said, their campus is still uber taco belly.  some things never change lol.

With all the cheez-it tostada controversy happening at Taco Bell lately I think it’d be best if we distance ourselves from that situation

If Washington and Oregon aren't already lined up for the big 10, it's time to give them a call.

Bowlsby might not be around and Yormark hasn't started but maybe there's a receptionist or an intern who could call for us?

Yep. Then when (if ever) the big 10 comes after Washington or Oregon, just grab the next best available team from the old PAC.

The PAC would probably invite teams like SDSU, Boise State, UNLV and SMU.

Given that the ACC will lose its top teams, the Big 12 should think about additions that will make it the clear-cut #3 conference. Maybe a mix of the best PAC 12 and ACC leftovers. Why take Colorado over Washington right away as has been suggested?

I mean they are definitely being when they are trying to justify leaving because of instability when they are the ones that caused that instability. None of these schools/fans can come out and say it's just about money, I mean that would just be ludicrous.

I would encourage Big 12 find a lucrative Amazon contract if they decide to swallow up the entire Pac 12.  I think that method of viewing is the ONLY thing that would prevent the conference from being cannibalized.  ESPN and FOX won't pay that $$.  We need to LIV golf this crap up.

I think the Big 10 probably takes Stanford next. That way they have all of Notre Dame's rivals and can get them. That leaves Oregon/Washington for us, plus whatever two leftovers we want.
