You motherfuckers really just spend two pages complaining about Gene? My God. What's hilarious about this is I'm certain all of you know that Gene himself has no impact on what's going to happen. There are three outcomes here and none of them will be impacted by a single AD.We remain in the Big 12 and add membersWe get invited to another already existing P5 conferenceWe get left out and we have to go to a G5 conferenceThere is no way any of you can think any of these ADs can literally talk their way into a Big 10, Pac 12, or ACC invite, so what are we talking about here?

So they play out the remainder of the GOR in the Big 12 for 4 more years?Or they pay us alot of moneyI don’t know what this is so hard to understand

Sue the eff out of everyone and remain a P5.This needs to be done by 2023.It absolutely should not. If the elite 8 holds steady we're all getting $40 million a year for the next 4 years, that's even more than the ACC and Pac 12. No one is making that, even if someone gets a deal from the Big 10 because they won't get a full share right away.Do nothing until the summer of 2024, then start weighing your options for July 1, 2025.

Many contracts have a material adverse change clause and I’m thinking his scenario is definitely a material change for the big 12. We’ll see I guess.
https://www.latimes.com/archives/la-xpm-1990-07-08-sp-135-story.htmlPretty interesting to read a newspaper article from 1990 foreshadowing the past 30 years or so

College football will be "fine" in a sense that FOX and ESPN will always make an obscene amount of money from the sport, no matter how it's configured. From a conference perspective, come 2025 (if the B12 is still together) the payout from FOX and ESPN will be a fraction of what it is now with the same or more viewers.
Sankey was on with Powl last Friday and it’s abundantly clear he wants the SEC to monopolize college football. Anti CFPO expansion, backtracked briefly, the reasserted that he’s not interested in CFPO expansion.
SECspn = WWF/WWENCAA = NWAB10/PAC * FOX = WCW and the bigger NWA promotionsEveryone else = old regional promotions under the NCAA umbrella
