The current $31 mil isn't entirely TV rights. It's estimated those are around 23-24 mil. So it adds some value to new members, but not much

The #2 guy in the conference, Texas AD Mike Perrin, said its not prudent to expand.  I'm assuming he talked to his boss and the only real decision maker in the conference prior to making that comment.

Pac 12 schools are getting significantly less than they thought they would, but as a group they seem not as angsty as a few big 12 schools. That being said the Arizona schools aren't as content.

I have no idea why anyone would think Texas wants to leave the Big 12. For what? They have never indicated that they want to. They literally have the best set up in the country for any school with a conference affiliation. Why would they want to go to the SEC and lose their clout? The California schools in the Pac 12 certainly wouldn't treat Texas like they're some savior. They aren't going anywhere and neither is OU because the SEC isn't taking both Oklahoma schools.

SEC would absolutely take both Oklahoma schools, they would absolutely be better off doing so and at this point I'm not sure a sizable portion of the SEC's power to make moves is just Southern resentment.
