QuoteThere could be an even bigger plan in the works for Texas. DeLoss Dodds, the Longhorns' athletic director, and Jack Swarbrick, the AD at Notre Dame, not long ago came together on a series of four Texas-Notre Dame games, starting in 2015. But they also have done some big-picture daydreaming. With the Irish and their NBC TV network anchoring, they've imagined a new North conference that would include Missouri, Arkansas, West Virginia, Louisville, North Carolina and Pittsburgh. Alongside Texas and its ESPN TV network in the South: Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, TCU, Texas Tech, Baylor and Houston.author seems kinda respected.http://www.dallasobserver.com/2011-08-18/news/as-it-tries-to-bolt-the-big-12-the-joke-s-on-texas-a-amp-m-again/2/

Guys, I am starting to think the Wildgatorcoon Conference is a little basketball heavy with Villanova, Arizona, Kentucky, and us. We need a little more football muscle. What do you think about adding Notre Dame?
Luke's stock is rising as Winters continues to validate his greatness. Add Luke and Winters to my list! Also, EMAWBLAST! and Tobias!

They and BYU could be great additions to the Big 12's "football muscle". These teams have been independent for so long though and seem to show no intention joining any conference

We would have Northwestern too, for what that's worth. Maybe we could invite any kind of wild cat, so Penn State, Houston, BYU, Wazzu, Mizzou, Auburn, LSU, Cincy, I'm sure I'm missing a ton of others.
