Didn't it come out that we are not going to get any Pac teams because Fox didn't add a pro rata clause for additional P5 members joining the conference? I believe only ESPN added the clause so new members would get ~$20m a year. Not near enough to leave.

3. Kansas
4. Texas Tech
5. Kansas State
6. Houston

Beyond that is basically a wash.

We know they aren't bringing in an additional plug nickel and we know Olympic sports having to make multiple annual trips to Spokane, Washington would cost significantly more than a plug nickel.

If the conference expands enough to make Gonzaga make sense, then WVU would only be sending their basketball team to Gonzaga once every 4 years.

I hope Yormark doesn't try to get Colorado to join.  They left for the PAC due to poor money management(broke) and now they are in the same shape.  Their AD is a failure with Baylor-type activity back when their team raped their female kicker and backed the male players.  They never recovered after that event and you would think they would be less arrogant about their status with the PAC.

I would rather have CSU than Colorado. At least there is a chance they could use P5 money to get competitive. Don't really want either, though.

Colorado is a dead end athletic department. They don't nearly get the credit they should for being consistently terrible in everything everyone cares about. They've somehow gotten worse in the Pac 12.

Counterpoint: it makes geographic sense, and Boulder is a really cool spot. It's also another easy win in both revenue sports.
