Yeah, their statement was bullshit. BYU staff and all the others sitting in the student section, literally accepted saved condoned it.

They won't but the Big 12 should make a public statement.

I would venture to say all of the NW states all mostly racist.  When I was stationed close to Seattle in the seventies, we had some big-time racial bawls as there was no hate lost for Jews, blacks, Eastern Nation natives, Mormons, Asians, and Mexicans.  A lot of them were hard to identify, due to the way everyone's skin was several shades lighter from lack of sun in the great Northwest.

I may add it wasn't just whites that were racist.  One bawl was between a group of Hawaiians pissed that an Asian was dating one of their kind.  One day at dinner in the mess hall they served fried chicken and watermelon and of course, short-ordered food which comprised of hamburgers and fries.  Some oversized Jew said out loud "what you know blacks eating their favorite food", that was a massive bawl.

What makes Kansas State the most unlikely team to leave the Big 12? First, the Wildcats have deep ties to their neighboring competitors — they are founding members of the original “Big 6” from 1928, along with Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska, Missouri, and Iowa State.

The other reason is that the Wildcats have been solid, but not spectacular, as a football and men’s basketball program in the Big 12. There’s not a lot of value added for a potential new mega conference, but Kansas State isn’t a league doormat, either.

It is always this. They have never tried to bury the Big 12, they have always just tried to maximize their bottom line and didn't care if that destroyed the Big 12 in the process. Same thing now with PAC, if the business decision ends up causing the PAC to disband then so be it.

I think you will see that their angle is to get Texas and OU to the SEC a year sooner with much lower (if any) payouts to the Big 12, and rewarding the Big 12 with a much better media deal than we otherwise would have received.
