Don't shoot the messenger, but I've got word that we're being seriously considered by the SEC (with KU). They want to up their basketball profile.Again, could be nothing, but he called the Pac-16 thing and the Baylor/CU mess before it broke to the press.Comes from the OSU side of things.

If the Nubs are leaving, I don't think Texas will stay. Nebraska was a vote they need to not have to share revenue.

Anyone we would replace NU with would vote for revenue sharing and would basically tear apart the blockade that UT has on anyone doing things they don't want. That's why UT could care less about MU, their replacement would vote the same way MU would/does.
Teams in the SEC we would be capable of competing with:KUVanderbiltKentuckySouth Carolina Mississippi StateOle Miss Arkansas We would probably go bowling about as often as we have in the big 12 recently.

I think we'll be able to hit 6-8 wins fairly consistently if get a little better now that we're getting a little talent. BB, we'll be consistent top 3-4, I think.
God, I dream of roadies to SEC locales to follow KSU. I would probably take three months off to just RV down there.

As long as we can still schedule 4 nonconference patsies and we get to play KU every year, we only would have to beat one team that is currently in the SEC to go bowling.

If this were true (and I'm not saying it is), we should build a statue of Bob Huggins in front of Hale Library and name it "The Savior of Kansas State University".Would look even better if it's an action pose of him in a windbreaker while holding a can of Miller Lite.
