Starting today Illinois can legally sell marijuana. I think that kinda forces Missouri to legalize because of St Louis. Then I think that forces Kansas to legalize because of KC.
Thoughts?
Why would you say that? Illinois also has metropolitan borders with Indiana, Iowa, and Wisconsin? Illinois also has very different laws than those border states on nearly every state law you can think of. What I find interesting is with the exception of the quad cities, these border communities have a very high minority population in conservative states. If I lived in any of these border areas, including the quad cities, I'd tread very lightly with going over and getting some sticky icky. The sheriffs offices in these border communities have to be looking at this like
The Illinois dispensaries will sell you half of the Illinois allotted amount if you live out of state. There was already a news story here about all the Iowa plates at the quad cities dispensary, wouldn't be me, they're going to be pulling so many people over.
You have to remember this is different than Colorado being that the metro areas are all on borders instead of right in the middle of the state.
