Honestly, I had no idea about TCU's arena. I read the post above about being in a high school gym and I thought ben ji was just making fun of how crappy their arena was. Then I saw that the court was orange with a ridiculous basketball in the middle and it was actually in a high school gym that seated less than 5K people.

Sadly, it did remind of of when the Cats were without a baseball field, but its not like we were on TV and stuff.

I've never seen it from a major conference school, but I may have missed it. I mean they are in Dallas/Ft Worth, I would think there would be a better/bigger arena available. Or you would plan renovations not during the season.

I also wondered why TCU wasn't doing this in the other 8 months of the year when there's no basketball going on but it turns out their renovation project has a ridiculously long timeline of about 19 months.
