jucos are, imo, a waste if they aren't used for two years.  why recruit them?  if they aren't good enough to immediately see the field, then it's a waste of rough ridin' time.

I agree.

Because we can't secure equally talented players out of HS

actually, we play those HS kids ahead of the juco kids.  I mean, there isn't a juco Lb better than Truman?  Will Davis?  Oh wait, there's two: Dakorey and Dvonta.  And it took Dakorey an entire f'ing year.  And who the hell knows about Dvonta.

If Riddle and Dvonta are both gone lets BID. Was looking forward to stout D next year (assuming we'd stop sitting back against good offenses), but now it seems like we won't even have that. Next year is going to suck.

So Will Davis and Trent Tanking might be our starting LB's next year? Woof.

I'm still trying to figure out if they're gone or not.  I'm hearing rumors but none of the supposed in the know types on here are saying anything.  If Tanking and Davis are the starters next year I might not watcha game.

I mean, what was wrong with what I said? Is our d not going to be sucky next year without Riddle and Dvonta if both are actually gone? Linebacker seems like an important position

They're not gone and we have no understanding yet if they're even capable of playing at this level yet. Stop melting down.

No one is melting down yet. Just made a point that it will suck if they are both gone. Jeez wacky. Chillax

No one is melting down because everyone knew this game would happen, pretty much exactly as it did

My perception has always been a person has to work really hard to get kicked off or dismissed from a Snyder team. :dunno:

Is this the thread to talk about the slothfense approach? It was maddening in the 4th quarter watching us use 35 seconds between plays that were designed to gain 7 yards. Can someone with HFBIQ explain to me why we ALWAYS have to sub, huddle, set, motion, check with me, audible, set before the snap???? We were down 2 scores and even if we scored, we were going to need a quick 3 and out to have any time.

I've watched pretty much every KSU game except a few in 2008 and I can't remember any hurry up drives in Snyder 2.0. Someone help me. Even when we forced the punt before half, it was like we were hoping to get to the 30 with 2 seconds left to try a field goal.

Because that's the system CF3, got dammit!  Never question the system!

The system worked great in 2012 with in games with leads. Was amazing. But last night wasn't 2012 and we never had a lead. I readily admit I'm a LFBIQ fan who never played/coached but there is nothing more maddening to me about our team than the lack of urgency when behind. I even get it early in the game last night  because we want to limit Baylor's chances but my word the check with me's are making me bonkers.

We needed a more athletic RB; one that can make some plays despite the oline.  DMac, while a good blocker, wasn't that type of RB.  Jones is decent but being predominantly used in the Wildcat limited his opportunities.

Last drive of the TCU game last season.

Last drive of the TCU game last season.

We had like negative 1 seconds left to try a long FG.

The defensive strategy would have worked against Baylor if our players would have made tackles. Hayes has figured out how to stop the high powered offenses we see. It's just unfortunate that he can't find players to plug into his system that are good enough to make it work.
