This. Some think we have a chance this weekend, but nobody thought we had a chance in 03 against OU.

If we win and get into the playoff, then I think it would be the most imporant win.

It wouldn't be as big as OU '03. It probably wouldn't be as big for the program as Nebraska '98, either.

I don't think OU was overlooking the Big 12 Championship game for a title game that was still 6 weeks away. It felt like more was on the line against Nebraska in '98, too. We had a better team and a real shot at actually winning the title game.

with an obvious exception for a national title win, there is no win that can surpass ou '03.

as big for the program? OU in 03 was so big for the program, the cats built off of it by getting blown out in the 7th place game (Fiesta Bowl), piling up 9 wins over the next two seasons, and 1 bowl appearance over the next 6.

this game could get the cats in a semi-final. IF that happens, it's a better win.

@OU 2 years ago was a pretty big win... that was win the world still thought OU was invincible at home.

that very first Nub win in 98 was very special.

2003 OU has to be the all time best win.

The importance of a win isn't necessarily related to the thereafter.   You can't judge the 98 win over Nub by the loss to cultaggie.

This game can only get the cats into a semi-final if 3 other teams all choke on the same weekend. It can only win the Big 12 outright if TCU loses at home to Iowa State.

Nebraska '98 set the stage for us to beat two teams we were favored against to reach the title game. At best this game would give us the chance to play a team we would be a double digit dog to for a chance at reaching the title game.

he asked if it would be his best career win, not importance. i don't know about you, but you would have to look at a career as a whole, after the games are played, right?

and the tcu/flood aggie game will have already been done for a few hours before the wild wild cats take the field for either a split or whole dr. pepper.

this is a road game, with the same stakes on the line (much more is on the line this time if other things happen)

Cat fans were significantly outnumbered

so like, there was only 30,000 or so cat fans at that game?
