congrats hawks, you won the Orlando
3. Five teams -- Louisville, Illinois, Miami, Ohio State and NC State -- come into Tuesday's Challenge games unbeaten. Which is the most likely to walk out with its first loss?Katz: Miami. The Hurricanes are at home, but they are playing an Illinois team that is rolling and took out Baylor in Las Vegas. The Canes will need to match toughness with the Illini.Medcalf: I'll go with Illinois. Miami is on a crazy run right now. Angel Rodriguez, Manu Lecomte and Sheldon McClellan comprise one of the most talented backcourts in the country. The Illini will be on the road in a matchup against a program that's ranked fourth in adjusted offensive efficiency per Ken Pomeroy. Tough task for John Groce's crew.
Another game to watch: Illinois at Miami (FL) (9 ET, ESPN2) -- Both of these teams have worked their way into the top 25 with undefeated starts to the season. The Hurricanes are here due to their defeat of Florida in Gainesville, as well as victory in the Charleston Classic. However, the win against Florida seems to be fool's gold, given the Gators' play this season, so it's a bit less certain just how good Jim Larranaga's team is. They should get a decent test against Illinois, who is out to fantastic start offensively due to sharp shooting from long range and a lack of turnovers. The Illini have scored at least 80 points in five of its first six games, and have the third best turnover rate in the country at a paltry 12.1 percent. I expect this one to be a fairly high-scoring affair that could go either way.
