I drive 40K a year on top of flying time. I try to stand as often as possible. Built a standing work station in my office last year. I love it.

I was traveling for like two weeks and thinking about how much you sit when you travel. Like, pretty much the whole time. People even sit while they wait at the airport, meanwhile I'm walking around like crazy and literally boarding the plane as late as possible.

I like sitting. Especially on bar stools. At bars.

In my head something funny to do would be to take an exercise ball with you everywhere you go and when you are ready to sit maybe you like have a pump with you and you inflate it and sit down on it. And then you like deflate it and put it back in your pocket when you are done.

Like, that could pass for an SNL skit these days. Its like a doucey workout guy that won't sit on anything else. I dunno, there's something there.

You're absolutely right, Benja. There is something there.

The lower left side of my back hurts really bad when I drive for any length of time now. I'm still only in my 20's. Is the rest of my life going to suck like this? :frown:

Have you ever been to the chiropractor? You may need an adjustment.

I don't know if I believe in chiropractors. But I'm going to have to start trying stuff. I bought a lumbar support pillow, which is something 65 year old men use but now I do too because I suck

You probably lean a little, tense up the arm you steer with a little, or sit just slightly askew in your seat.

Go to chiropractor. Good grief. Do you really think a quack profession could be as successful as the chiropractic profession?

Do you sit on your wallet when you drive? Because you shouldn't do that.
