ITT I will probably post about my ongoing journey to find the perfect way to sit so my lower back stops hurting.

Raised my desk last Nov.  It's pretty great.  Takes a while to get used to, but it keeps me from the 2pm energy crash and I have a lot more energy basically all of the time than I used to.

Sitting all day at a desk can cause your hip flexors to tighten up, which can cause back pain. I've found that the couch stretch helps. Sorry about the bro speak, but he explains it well.

Had a boss w/ one of these doofus chairs.  Lasted about 3 weeks and then I saw it in the dumpster out back.

I have super pud posture. Yesterday I was sitting and knew I would be sitting for 20 minutes and I was like, "Hey SB. Let's scoot all the way back in this chair so our spine aligns with the chair and sit up straight the entire time and then see if that correct posture makes a difference when we stand up." It made a difference. No pain. Probably should sit that way more. :frown:

I drive 40K a year on top of flying time. I try to stand as often as possible. Built a standing work station in my office last year. I love it.
