just read a bunch of stuff on iOS 9 and El Capitan, and im pretty excited for them to come out later this year.  the split app view for iPad and Macbook looks awesome, and notes may actually be useful now.  i still wont use apple maps but at least it looks like they are at least making it respectable now. PIP also looks pretty cool, I imagine its gonna be basically identical to what the youtube app does currently. obviously making everything faster is always a plus and im pretty jacked about a swift upgrade.

the iOS 8.4 update gives you apple music, but disables home sharing. so if you like home sharing don't update your iPhone/iPad

How do I unzip a RAR file? Is there a free version of WinZip that I can use?

Zip protocols come with build in checksums... So if there was an error downloading your file and it didn't copy exactly as it should, and it was very important that every one of those 3k bytes be correct as in the case of a license file, a zip file would help ensure the expected behavior.

This thread feels like a super boring episode of Halt and Catch Fire.

Type one of your passwords in that, then google the resulting hash.
