They spend on that money and aren't even going to make the playoffs. Jeter Day, The Royals in town (they're Super Bowl) and they can't even score a run.

If Duffy doesn't get hurt, I guarantee they don't score a run this entire series. What an embarrassment to the game of baseball.

Just saw that the Yankees are 6 games out of the wild card (behind four teams) with only 13 to play. Their playoff chances aren't looking too good. What a tough way for The Captain to go out

I read a few days ago that he's only played one game in which his team had already been eliminated. Pretty remarkable, really.

Also, very #dire2pectful of his teammates to do this to him on his farewell tour.
