man. sue just burned the ever loving heck out of haze for not including the chef. absolute best in the business for breakfast/brunch and it's downtown!

sue- why don't you think auntie mae's would be liked by his/her family? there isn't a more relaxed/family friendly bar in town.
This is totally true. Tons of parents come in with their kids before the games. The parents get Bloody Marys and the kids get Shirley Temples. Everyone leaves happy and ready to cheer on our Kansas State WILDCATS!!!

Memo to Sunflowersue, Coco-Bolo's is also a very family friendly Manhattan establishment.

The parents can have margaritas and Tijuana Trainwrecks while the kids can have chocolate milks and cheese quesadillas.
Texas Christian University coach Gary Patterson has been hired as Kansas State's 34th football coach, multiple sources have confirmed to GoPowercat.com.  Patterson replaces Ron Prince, who was fired Wednesday. - Tim Fitzgerald   Nov, 7, 2008

Does nobody know that Bushwackers has been gone for over a year?
I don't think anyone cares about that shithole

i have a funny story about that dump. i guess some new people bought the building across the little parking lot from them, painted it purple and are planning to do a similar concept. oh and they also found out that the entire space between them and bushwackers/dirty dogs including the dirty dog patio actually belongs to them.

It's now turning into a similar and or exact same kind of bar as, "Dirty Dawgs," but this one is called, "Rockin' Rodeo." Stupid as eff.

will anybody loan me the money to level both of those places and put up one nice emaw bar that could utilize the parking lot for outdoor concerts?

What is the business plan? How much do you need? I think this was brought up a couple of years ago, but nothing ever became of it. I also need to see that the mods are fully on board and invested in this. It would never take off if the mods didn't have some skin in the game.

That is pretty interesting. I say they do a death match for the rights to the patio.

A good friend and former poster on this board almost bought Bushwhackers after it went out of business when Ft Riley blacklisted it a couple years ago.
:adios:

to those of you giving good advice... thank you very much.

to those of you trolling visitors like myself, do you realize how stupid it is to try and have visitors who are patronizing your local merchants leave with a negative impression of your town and its fans?

Are you gonna give us a bad Yelp review or something?

A word of advice for our visitors:  Manhattan KS has a law that any drivers talking on a cell phone must be using a hands free device.  Getting caught and cited for that phone up to your ear can cost you $150.00 or more.  Like many other states, texting while driving is illegal state-wide.

There are signs about the hands-free law within the city limits, but they are small, not real numerous, and easily missed.
