I'm currently posting this from the ISU student union

:billdance: that's me on these losers

hopefully you're wearing a KSU cats shirt and recording their weird comments?

Chose not to wear a hat but I'm wearing a lots of purple including my elite K-State fossil watch and telling anyone who will listen that I'm :kstategrad: a couple of people have had nervous laughter but nothing beyond that
The nervous laughter is because those racist hayseeds have never actually spoken to a black man.

Gonna win 'em all!

So is skateboarding and long boarding a thing a K-State? I was outside at ISU for an hour today and I counted 6 dudes on boards.

It was 10 years ago.

Funny how quickly things change in 2 years.

Man, what a sad story to look back on. Rhoads did do some nice things with the wins at NU and UT and the big upset of OSU. Unfortunately he's taken that momentum and buried it into the ground.

And they wanted so badly for him to be the guy to do it; not quite the same, but similar to how some of us "believed" in Wooly.

But he's like Snyder in... (I don't know how else to put it), that 'special something' sort of way, and as further proof, he's been accomplishing a lot more than just the speeches and the wins. He's actually changing minds.

"We didn't need a junior-college quarterback, we felt, when he came out of Iowa Western, so we weren't recruiting one." - Paul Rhoads

What a giant rough ridin' idiot. Especially at the QB position, Rhoads has no room to be picky. Juco, high school, or former convict -- Paul Rhoads needs a QB and talent should trump any other considerations. What a dork.

Paul Rhoads calling Jake a total garbage armed QB has to make Waters pretty mad.

Yeah, its idiotic. Why wouldn't you want to bring in talent (especially local) and build competition. Any decent college coach should never think "we're fine at this position, we really don't need to recruit another guy" unless he's in real bind with scholarship numbers.

You have to be a smart player in LHC Bill Snyder’s system to be effective at the quarterback position.

This made me giggle

What's the first word you think of when someone says Iowa State? For me it's trash. And then it's yuck. If you asked me for a whole sentence it would be wet garbage trash yuck.

I wonder if they showed interest once he was at Juco and Jake was like no thanks, you had your shot. I mean, neither party would say that obvs. But if I proved everyone wrong and ended up with better schools offering, I wouldn't settle for Iowa St. Either way, Rhoads looks like a huge idiot saying this.

Waters looks like an Iowan loser in that article.  That article is an embarassment to K-State football.
