I get that, but when will phones become too big?  The EVO will be nearly 5 inches long. 

Just do the IPad thing and get Skype, like someone said in that thread.

Oh please. It's about the same size as the iphone. It just minimizes the bezel and maximizes the screen size. It's .3 inches longer than the iphone. How is that an extravagant increase in size?

Not quite the EVO 4G, but not bad for Verizon either.  Definitely an upgrade from my Touch Pro.  

The fact that it's only $200 is pretty great too

I don't hate 4.3" screens. In fact I want one really badly. I hate 3.7" screens, since they're not what I want, though.

Is anything but the HD2 available at 4.3"?  

I know smartphone competition is getting kind of crazy good, but still.

At some point it does seem like it might get a little ridiculous with some 6 inch phone or something.

And FYI, if EVO 4G was coming out on Verizon instead of Incredible, yeah I'd get it

And rusty, no I haven't seen another phone that big yet.  The 4.8x2.6x.5 dimensions of the EVO are the biggest.  IPhone is 4.5x2.4x.48 and Incredible is 4.6x2.3x.47 for comparison.

Only the HD2 as far as I know. I think a few companies have them in the works though.

Yeah, I hear ya. I really don't see it happening with much more than 4.5" just for the size of the pocket. What really needs to happen is something like wireless HDMI built in phones so you can throw it up on monitors or your tv when you're doing something.

i've hung out w/ sd a few times and i can tell you that this isn't really him. you know how i knew this wasn't sd? no braided leather belt. other than that...spot on. looks just like him.
