As a K-State fan, how can anyone talk crap on LHCBS.  We are very lucky this old dog stuck with us.  I'm sure we would have shittier facilities than KU if it wasn't for this man.  It is super stupid to complain about what he makes when you compare much shittier coaches getting much more pay.  I guess we won't count our blessings until he leaves and we get that wonderful gready coach who asks for as much as LHCBS but can't win crap and the KU fans laughing at us, kind of like the "Prince Days".

SO TO YOU WHINNING BABIES, "GO SUCK IT!"!!!  :curse:

GUYS!

Don't you get it? Currie put his foot down. We're getting alternate uniforms for the Thursday games and Nike is writing us a fat check to do it.

I wouldn't care if Snyder makes $4 million or $5 million.  Sometimes its best to keep quiet.

Plus, is a student athlete really hurt that much by playing on a Thursday night?   Nope.   I know Snyder cares about the books, I also know that Bill has no problem in seeing the books stay in the back pack (a lot) during the bigger game weeks in lieu of game prep.

Also, don't demand the kind of time that you demand of your players and not build them the very best facilities that you can.   With the money they're bringing into the athletic department and their time investment, they deserve the best.   There's plenty of new limestone and steel going up over on campus, with tens of millions more to come.   No need to worry about those professorial cubicles, they're gonna be just fine.

I know, for most Snyder is a sacred deity, but as I always say; K-State made LHC Bill Snyder, not the other way around.   Anyone who thinks otherwise is just not thinking it through.

It's almost as goofy as when he said "look at Sams throwing this TD pass" as Wyatt showed H3O dinking and dumping a ball to Gronk for a 40-yard scamper.

I always say this because the K-State administration with the backing of a lot of K-State people went way out on a limb for Snyder both control wise and financially.   It had to be done . . . but there are people who either don't know, or don't remember this in the militant Snyder junta.   I know Snyder appreciates that, and that's great.   But it was K-State who allowed LHC Bill Snyder to be who he is today.   Thankfully he did a fantastic job, and created a situation where people believe it was the other way around.   It's a great situation to be in, and a fun discussion to have.

I might want to look at the ones that didn't make it.  I'm sure it was K-State's fault:whistle1:

The coaches that didn't make it?

Really, you don't think K-State was at fault when K-State wouldn't dare do anything to hurt basketball in order to support football?  Or former K-State Pres's like Duane Acker who hated football?

How about when K-State went 13-6 over two years in the 50's but wouldn't give the coaching staff a paltry little pay raise and few hundred more bucks to recruit so as to not upset Tex Winter?

Dude I will destroy you in this discussion if that's where you're going . . . ya dig?

Friends tho.

Dax, I agree we were a BB only school.  I came from Hays where the BB Tigers are king.  Kansas is full of BB schools.  I think the only one to care about football was/is Pitt-State.  But I'm not sure why you don't give credit to Synder's determination in turning us into a football first school.  You do know when Rusty's Huggs came in and Prince was around we turned to BB in a heartbeat.  Those times my friend, were miserable years for me and other football loving fans.

P.S.  This in no way puts down BB fans, but I really hate sucking KU's dick.

Of the 65 Power Five coaches from the ACC, Big Ten, Big 12, Pac-12, SEC and Notre Dame, 46 percent (30 coaches) favored playing exclusively Power Five opponents while 35 percent (23 coaches) were opposed. About 18.5 percent (12 coaches) were undecided.

Big 12 coaches favored it by a 6-4 margin, but Kansas State's LHC Bill Snyder was against it. Snyder's reasoning was that the Wildcats annually need seven home games because of the amount of money brought into the Manhattan, Kansas, community. By playing only Power Five opponents, Snyder said K-State would not be able to schedule seven home games each season.

This is a great example of the love LHCBS has for K-State and the small community of Manhattan.

Yep.  Can you even imagine how much the little apple will rake in if we ever get ESPN College Gameday and all the hype that comes with that back in MHK?

It's still so strange to me how hard Trim tries so hard these days. He's been wrong on both coaches.
Hope he's winning in the court room.
