I mean Bill, come on, love ya.   But I've read your contracts, and if you really don't want the money, club memberships, courtesy cars, expense accounts, annual trips to Mayo for a physical, Final Four Tickets etc. etc. than don't ask for them or take them.   Oh, and don't set your kids and grandkids up with six figure jobs for life (while lobbying for them to be the head guy) and full ride scholarships.

I know you give big donations, which is cool . . . but they're also known as a tax deduction, important for someone with a total compensation package worth over $3 million a year.

I think Bill is saying he'd rather someone give that $3 million to the library.

However, I think he's also cognizant that it's the reality, so you have to pay to play.  He just doesn't like it.

2. Facility upgrades
3. Uniform Upgrades
4. Non traditional gamedays

He could ask for, and get, much more money. Honestly I don't see the amount of hypocrisy that dax is implying. I'm no believer that Snyder is the saint many in our fanbase wish he was, but I do think he's credible enough to say what he did.

Had Bill been more flexible and left his office and let what needed to really be done, be done.   He wouldn't need to leave his office after this football season.   He is almost completely responsible for the fact that Vanier is a nice but very inefficient football facility and thus now needs to be completely replaced.

The dude took the HC job making $80K a year. This isn't the first time he's brought this up. I also posted about this in the other thread yesterday. He's old school and you're not going to change his ways now. He has adapted his 2nd go around however.
