Also, don't get me started on the whole Taj Mahal and leaving the office deal.

Had Bill been more flexible and left his office and let what needed to really be done, be done.   He wouldn't need to leave his office after this football season.   He is almost completely responsible for the fact that Vanier is a nice but very inefficient football facility and thus now needs to be completely replaced.

Yeah if it wasn't for Bill we'd finally have all the nice things. So sick of that old grandpa holding us back!

That's not the point, but golly imagine CF3 trying to make it into one.   I understand, decades of Royals/Chiefs angst will do that to someone.

Meh. You're overreacting IMO. I get that you don't like the Snyder nepotism, but he's just speaking about how he thinks should be in an ideal world. Any time we're in a story, that's not a scandal, its good anyways.

Also, Current stories on CBS sports:

How much am I overreacting CF3?

I mean we are talking about a coach who gets paid over $3 million a year, has a contract loaded with perks which we know he willingly partakes in, and who has used his contract to essentially send his kids and grandkids to K-State for free and has had it written into the various contracts over the year that at least one of his son's shall be employed by K-State making a relatively generous income for life . . . talking about how college football has "sold out".

If you can't see an element of hypocrisy there, than you're not really much of a thinker.

I'm really kind of leaning towards thinking that you're the one overreacting.

I see it, I think Pan put it best. Also, you're just exhausting. If your goal is to win arguments by wearing down the other side, congrats.

Quote
According to the Associated Press, the 74-year-old Snyder said, "We're all about dollars and cents."

He said "we" not "they" so I don't see what the problem is

According to Bill there is a problem, he's part of it, but apparently not going to change any of his ways to fix it.

Sorry Pan . . . the grudgingly take the $233K a month (or thereabouts) shtick don't hunt.

I didn't say there wasn't a hint of hypocrisy in there.

It's like, "Hey, I didn't ask to make this much, but I'm not going to say no."

I'm not defensive, but when someone starts talking about "overreacting' or saying something that's clearly a story, a non-story, I'm going to call them on it.

You know, if you really think about it, there's not an element of hypocrisy in what Snyder said (of course we all know why he really said it), there's like a $hitload of hypocrisy.

Sean:  Dad these are great mid-court seats for the Final Four.

Bill:  I know son, just be glad K-State forced (quote fingers) me to take them.

Sean:

Little freaked out that I'm firmly entrenched on Team Dax here.

If Snyder were actively working to change things while taking a very generous salary, that's one thing.

Snyder has basically done the complete opposite of that his entire career though.

Does Snyder really make $3 million?

Also, a sign that you need to grow some balls or work on thinking for yourself or something is when you say, "CAN'T BELIEVE I'M AGREEING W/ *INSERT UNPOPULAR POSTER HERE*".

Wait, am I unpopular?  Was there a vote?  I didn't even get a chance to stand up for myself.

Damnit!
