That's the one I listened to too.  Going to binge these when I get the chance.  I wish I cooked with more vinegar,  so I could try that.

I bet he has to.  Especially w guys like that Sawyer guy.  I bet he would just keep going deep on vinegar and turn that 'cast into a three part series on beer mothers if not controlled and brought back in.

Started Hardcore History yesterday.  Started with the Blue Print to Armageddon four part series.  Really good.  I am four hours into it in two days.

He does a good job of conveying a crap load of historical info in a very interesting manner.

Makes me wish I paid a bunch more attention to HS history class.

It's the best.  And I graduated with a degree in history from Kansas State (phi beta kappa) so I can be considered quite an authority on history podcasts.  Dan is the greatest.  Because they're so long (the latest Countdown to Argmageddon is 4.5 hours  :surprised:) it can be a lot to digest at once.  I try to save them for my trips to and from KC/Champaign.

He also has something of a current events podcasts that usually get released once every 2-3 weeks which are also very good.  It's more of a commentary from him, but they're great if you want some more Dan Carlin in between the HH shows.

did a little research, here's what turned up-

Quote
Three hours of Mirth, Music and Mayhem hosted by Tom Scharpling. The home of Scharpling & Wurster. The former Best Show On WFMU is now The Best Show!

never heard of mirth, so whatever on that.  music?  spotify.  mayhem?  sounds like WWF with some Tom guy.  /pass

The first couple episodes of Invisibilia (the one on Radiolab and the actual first episode you can download) were really good.  I'm going to keep this on my list.

I was kinda bored by them.  I am going to give them a shot still, though.

Have just found This.....Is Interesting.  Have only listened to three of them, but really like it so far.

Bored?  The guy who was a living vegetable stuck watching Barney cartoons on loop over and over again wasn't interesting?

Hell, I practically forgot that I was driving this morning.
