Well, now you know it's serious. Obama just cancelled a fundraiser to convene his cabinet. http://www.weeklystandard.com/blogs/obama-hold-ebola-meeting-cabinet_816326.html

I'm going to hit up the grocery store for canned goods on the way home tonight.
Not me i plan on robbing and pillaging as soon as the crap really hits the fan.

If you haven't been doing robbing/pillaging workouts the last six years, there's no one to blame but yourself.

yeah, all of you that made fun of crossfit, guess who can carry a 60 lb bag of rice into their ebola bunker and guess who can't

If it provides you with any security she provides services at several hospitals in Rural ks and even there on Every patient that comes to the ER. Regardless of their chief complaint they are given screening questions to assess for risk factors for Ebola.  She does say it is unfortunate that this was not implemented before Mr. Duncan was diagnosed with Ebola in Dallas but at least as it stands now it seems all ERs in the US are screening every single patient with a questionnaire as they walk into their dept.

PS. she says get your flu shot!

my wife works in outpatient and has to ask her patients those questions every time they walk through the door. so she sees people like every day or two and has to be like "did you go to Liberia since I saw you yesterday?"

Dallas County Commissioners will hold a special meeting Thursday to declare a disaster over "the potential for widespread or severe damage, injury, loss or threat of life resulting from the Ebola virus."

"How will I recruit to Manhattan? Well, distance. And the proud state of basketball. It start there, and then daily flights to Dallas, because I'm really good at going out. Like top five good. Ask my wife. She wants me to be happy."

Ok, now the government is finally taking some real, meaningful action - we now have an official Ebola Czar!

Doctor (ha ha, just kidding) Ron Klain is "a longtime Democratic operative" who's notable credentials include:
- Chief of Staff to Al Gore
- Chief of Staff to Joe Biden
- Instrumental in implementing the 2009 "stimulus package", including signing off on the Solyndra deal.

Give it up for Ron!

I've said it before and I'll say it again, K-State fans could have beheaded the entire KU team at midcourt, and K-State fans would be celebrating it this morning.  They are the ISIS of Big 12 fanbases.

Sorry, you're right, discussing what a colossal eff up our government has been in response to a potentially devastating disease needs to stay in the pit.

Hey guys, you know what's really funny? How about this Ebola thing? Amiright?

I mean, I feel for Felix because a small part of the continent he lives on is having an issue.  He's a mere 2000 miles or so from this stuff.

A lot of people need to have X amount of panic/stress in their lives at all times.  When they fail to manufacture the drama personally, they go with bullshit reasons to panic.
