I had to pick a loss between ISU and TCU. Just picked ISU to piss someone off reading this and because it's our first road game. I look at games more like this:
Wins: SFA, UTEP, KU
Winnable: @ISU, TTU, UT, OSU, @TCU, @WVU, Auburn
Losses: @OU, @BU
I struggle whether to consider Auburn winnable, but it is at home, so I put it there. We have a chance, I suppose. I think we have 3 wins, then win 5 of the winnable games and go 8-4. I wouldn't argue with anyone that had us at 9-3, I just don't think the secondary will be good enough, nor will the offense be consistent enough (especially the run game and what I would call inconsistent/poor OL play). Maybe the front 7 will make up for the secondary? Maybe the OL will find some consistency and we'll find a dependable running back? We desperately need a robin for our batman in the WR corp, imo. This year seems kind of meh, but wins @ISU and Auburn would obviously make it very fun. I just don't see many difference makers (i.e. people that will make this year better than last year) on this squad (Maybe Clinks and Dvonta? Not sure on offense). Next year will be beyond interesting to see what the team will look like, given what we've lost and will lose.
