8/30 Stephen F Austin      W
9/6   @ISU                      L
9/13  BYE
9/18  Auburn (thu)           L
9/27  UTEP                      W
10/4  TTU                        W
10/18  @OU                     L
10/25   UT                       W

11/8     @TCU                  W
11/15    BYE
11/20    @WVU (thu)       W
11/29.   KU.                    W
12/6      @BU                   L

I had to pick a loss between ISU and TCU.  Just picked ISU to piss someone off reading this and because it's our first road game.  I look at games more like this:

Wins: SFA, UTEP, KU
Winnable: @ISU, TTU, UT, OSU, @TCU, @WVU, Auburn
Losses: @OU, @BU

I struggle whether to consider Auburn winnable, but it is at home, so I put it there.  We have a chance, I suppose.  I think we have 3 wins, then win 5 of the winnable games and go 8-4.  I wouldn't argue with anyone that had us at 9-3, I just don't think the secondary will be good enough, nor will the offense be consistent enough (especially the run game and what I would call inconsistent/poor OL play). Maybe the front 7 will make up for the secondary?  Maybe the OL will find some consistency and we'll find a dependable running back?  We desperately need a robin for our batman in the WR corp, imo. This year seems kind of meh, but wins @ISU and Auburn would obviously make it very fun. I just don't see many difference makers (i.e. people that will make this year better than last year) on this squad (Maybe Clinks and Dvonta? Not sure on offense).  Next year will be beyond interesting to see what the team will look like, given what we've lost and will lose.

I've got to say the fact that Zacker has us at 8-9 wins sounds very promising.

Losses to Auburn, OU, Texas, OSU and Baylor. That's 5. So I'll say, 7-5.

OSU is going to stink up the conference, this year and Texas is going to have the team continuity of clowder (a glaring?) of cats in a rowing contest.

Not sure if the Cotton Bowl people ITT realize that  it's now a CFP level bowl, meaning if we were in it we'd be a top 12 team and placed there by the committee. So yeah, I'd definitely take that.

Btw, 10-2 win one out of Auburn, Baylor and Oklahoma and lose the other two.

9-3
-I don't see any chance of winning in Norman or Waco.
-SFA, ISU, UTEP, WVU, KU are easy picks as Ws.
-Tech, TCU and UT at home are all games we should win.
-I could swap the Auburn L with the OSU W, just don't see us winning both (no good reason; just paranoid about OSU in general)

I think this team is as good as the team that won in Norman two years ago. Unless DGB becomes eligible it'll be a barn burner.

That's how I see it as well, but depending on the outcome of the OU game you all could go 8-4, losing one of the next three (UT, oSu, TCU).

I like it. I didn't say gonna win em all last year, but GWEA'd the crap out of 12. We have a shot at it this year, so it's applicable. If we beat Auburn... oh man... get ready for the GWEA's.

I like to separate our seasons into 4 categories; Definites, Probables, Winnables and No-Chances.

This season we seem pretty well put together, so I feel that every game is at worst winnable.

Definites;

SFA
UTEP

Probables;

KU
ISU
TTU
TCU
UT
OSU
WVU

Winnables;

Aubie
Baylor
OU

If I has to say, we'll go 6-1 in the probables and 1-3 in the winnables.  This puts us at 9-4, pretty legit season

Look how favorable are schedule is going into WACO. With a Bye, WVU and KU just ahead of Baylor we will go into the game health. The team hates Baylor, there is a better chance we curb stomp them then lose.

I was just thinking that today. If we get past OU we're going to the playoffs. Baylor won't stop us this year.
