Many of the purchased campus protests aren't just talking about specific Israeli acts, they don't want Israel to exist.

interesting if true. It was my understanding that even Palestine is not calling for Israel to not exist. They are very much in favor of a 2 state solution. Seems like those purchased campus protests (i assume soros was the purchaser?) are going off script or might have some bad actors making the most noise.

The "river to the sea" is not a new thing.

The majority of the elements of your political movement are controlled by neocons, friend. So this whole MAGA trope relative to this topic is just

Speaking of playing both sides, your "pro's and adults" are absolutely playing both sides in this: World at War - The Biden years, phase that we're in right now.

There was and is no news coverage of the campus protests and ongoing protests, so there's no way anyone could get a sense of what they're saying . . . Ragey StalkerBot.7

Also, on the banned thing

Time to cue up an afternoon of passive aggressive  :curse: from the stalkerbot

I definitely believe that significant portions of the protest organization on many campuses were from out-of-town professional organizations, to Dax's point.  However, that happens on many topics and campus political efforts.  I can remember rocking the vote in the 90's per Adam Curry's and Down Town Julie Brown's encouragement.

I suppose the real question is how Hamasy are those organizations?  Any sympathy for Hamas is worse than any sympathy for Israel, regardless of your beliefs.  Having said that, Israel's behavior provides ample reason for legitimate protests against them without aligning with Hamas.

IDF freed 4 hostages held in a residential area. Blasted tons of people. I have to acknowledge that it seems like a fairly effective deterrent to storing hostages in a given area.

All of the local Islamic gangs have teamed up to form an all-star team against Israel. Those dudes are committed, zero doubt of that now. Staring in the face of almost certain destruction of their friends and neighbors homes, they press forward undaunted.

is there some characteristic shared by the downgrades that people israel that makes you feel they don't have the right to defend themselves and their country?

As we soldier forward (pun intended?) in a world that currently has the most global conflict underway since WWII. It looks and sounds like the war in the Middle East will be expanding to Lebanon (again).

do we need a new thread to keep up with Israel's new war, just change the thread title or just continue to shrug because who cares?
